Dodge has been working on their SUV lineup, and the Dodge Journey offers more horsepower and fuel efficiency. The Journey’s base edition is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that gets 25 mpg on the highway. With four-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, the Journey’s base edition is incredibly fuel efficient, but you may not get the same towing capacity and horsepower as higher cylinder engine. The GT trim is the higher performance engine in the lineup. This is a V6 engine that gets 280 horsepower.

The GT trim isn’t as fuel efficient as the four-cylinder. With the V6, you’ll be able to tow small boats, trailers, and more. It comes with all-wheel drive and six-speed automatic transmission. The V6 trim also doesn’t get the same gas mileage because of the higher power engine. You’ll lose about 2 to 3 mpg for the all-wheel drive version of the Journey.

You can test drive and see the fuel efficiency yourself when you come to Rz Motors Incorporated. Our Hettinger location offers the best customer service and information on our latest SUVs.
